Appreciating the Country Bear Jamboree
www.patreon.com/colinlooksback
The Country Bear Jamboree has been one of my favorite attractions since I first visited Disney World as a child. These lovable, off-beat bears started my love of animatronics! I've found that it's a pretty divisive show (at least online), so I want to give it the love it deserves!

I have somewhere a children's book adaptation of the movie and if my recollection's correct, there's a third appearance from Foulfellow and Gideon. I believe it happens after escaping Pleasure Island and Pinocchio is determined to get back to Geppetto. It's said in the book that it's apparent Foulfellow and Gideon have had a run of bad luck as their clothes are rattier than ever and Foulfellow's lost his tail. Perhaps he had to sell it settle a debt or he was caught cheating at cards and his tail was taken as punishment. Either way, the pair are overjoyed to see Pinocchio again and try to con him a third time, only for Pinocchio to say he's not falling for their tricks anymore and continuing on his way to Geppetto's.

Also, Maybe because you mentioned Cruella in her Disney Chills book series you could do a Disney chills episode please? Because Captain Hook and Maleficent have their books as well. Plus, When he gets up to Ursula, Scar, Hades, and Dr. Facilier in the future along with other Disney villains that might get into the Disney Chills book series make sure to include their references in those books too because they’re also in there and said he included some of those billings already. I wouldn’t want those facts to get left out. Here’s to hoping you find this idea a possibility! Please?

I never thought that Nasty Jack was a "true" villain. Think about it "The Legend of Sherif Piglet." was just a play, so really the horse playing Nasty Jack was just an actor playing his role.🤔 Also when I was a kid,I was terrified of the Skullasaurus mostly because we never get to see the creature. It's true the imagination can think of scarier things.

11:29 In this scene, when he meets Taran yet again, Horned King was able to tell that the three heroes are not actually what they say they are. The Horned King not only tells Taran that he's just a lowly pig keeper, but knows Eilonwy as a scholar maid not a princess and Fflewddur Fflam as a terrible bart. See, I never felt that Foulfellow and Gideon's fear in the pub was of the police, but I agree with you that it's not a moral qualm either. I think they were slowly figuring out that the Coachman was more than met the eye, and their panic came from realizing that he either wasn't human or was simply dangerous enough to put them in consequences they'd never experienced before, should they fail. Like, they know how to tease Stromboli, but Coachman is new, more threatening territory, and they're realizing this in real time, seeing that he can inflict fates worse than death ("They never come back AS BOYS") and might have something like that in store for them.

And as a full adult, when was completely head over Aurora, he did a little dance with his dad, and before he entered the cabin with Mal waiting inside, Phil looked at his horse if he should go right to Aurora wich the horse nodded for yes and Phil shown a sign of disgust and/or fear seeing Mal in her dragon form. edgar wasn't evil or bad at least not morally, first off the cats are ANIMALS if it was a human then yes that would be different but it was cats and he made it seem like they ran away which pets commonly do. he probably thinks animals are not the same as humans matter of fact he think giving the inheritance to animals is extremely ridiculous, not rational whatsoever, and dumb i mean come on that's not common sense and i dont know why he made the headlines for "catnapping" those animals you cannot call the cops on a missing pet ffs!!!

There’s some evidence in the background of Roger Rabbit that suggests Doom didn’t pick Roger to frame at random. In Maroon’s office, there’s a poster for a short called Pistol Packin’ Possum as you alluded to. It’s conspicuous for being the only non Roger Rabbit/Baby Herman poster in the room. The Possum’s pistol seems to be the same gun used to kill Maroon, and he also possesses eyes that are the same red as Doom’s. As a side note, possums apparently have squeaky voices. It could be that Doom used to be Maroon Cartoon’s biggest star before he was replaced by Roger. If true, this makes the movie a revenge story and explains why he wants to destroy Roger in the sequel graphic novel. It’s a theory I like very much and wouldn’t put past Zemeckis to do. Part of what makes Roger Rabbit so good is that it understands the concept of show, don’t tell. The Possum poster could well be a visual hint.

@CollinLooksBack I REALLY LOVE "Disney's Sing Along Songs: Pongo & Perdita!" It is my favorite volume in the Disney's Sing Along Songs Series, and I'm a big fan of it. I discovered it on RUclips one day 11 years ago when I was 11 years old along with the other "Disney Sing Along Songs" volumes also on RUclips, and I have been loving this volume ever since. I love the plot of the sing along and how they based it off of the 1996 live action 101 Dalmatians movie and had a plot based on the never released song from the animated movie "Going To The Bow Wow Ball" and adding it to the sing along. I also love how this sing along tells a story unlike the other sing alongs. In my opinion, it's like the live action 101 Dalmatians for very young kids, minus Curella De Vil. I also love how they incorporated the scenes from the live action movie, such as (Spoiler Alert) Pongo waking up his owner, Pongo operating the shower and coffee maker and fetching the milk jug from the front step of the house, but they also had Perdita do the chores scenes from the movie. I loved they incorporated the "putting on the collars" scene from the live action movie in this sing along. I also love how they incorporated songs and scenes from the animated movie, such as Kanine Krunches jingle and the never released song "Going to The Bow Wow Ball" in the sing along. I loved how they added a dream sequence to the sing along, which makes the sing along's storyboard and screenplay also very entertaining and that the song "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" fitted really well with that scene after Bobby got knocked out by the baseball throwed at his head. I really loved how they incorporated scenes the dogs didn't do in the animated and live action movies such as Pongo fetching the newspaper, Pongo rising the flag up by the house and farm which is part of the Dalmatian Plantation just like at the end of the live action movie in this sing along. I really love that Dog Mom and the dogs have a machine where Pongo pulls on a leash to feed the puppies, and their house and yard, including the Bow Wow Ball was decked out with artwork and merchandise from the live action 101 Dalmatians movie featuring the dogs from the live action movie in cartoon form. When the live action 101 Dalmatians came out in theaters in 1996, almost all the merchandise based on the movie featured the live action characters in cartoon form, just like when it's sequel 102 Dalmatians came out, almost all the merchandise featured the characters in cartoon form. I enjoyed the choice of dogs in this sing along such as Pongo, Perdita, their puppies and the dogs attending the Bow Wow Ball. I was glad they had Jewel, Lucky, Dipstick, Two-Tone and Fidget in the sing along, but I noticed that Whizzer wasn't in the sing along even though he got some screen time in the live action movie and that Fidget's gender in the sing-along was female and not male like in the live action movie. The dogs that attended the Bow Wow Ball used their real names and not characters, since those dogs were from the animal training company "Birds & Animals Unlimited," and guest starred as themselves. Birds & Animals Unlimited provided the animals for this sing along, and the company was known for making some Hollywood movies, TV series and commercials featuring animals such as both the live action 101 Dalmatians movies, Marley & Me, the Harry Potter film series, Hotel For Dogs, the Beverly Hills Chihuahua film series and Marmaduke. Also, the kids also guest starred themselves going to the Bow Wow Ball, just how like it was done when the kids from the "Mickey's Fun Songs" series guest starred as themselves. Some of the dogs that played Pongo and Perdita in the live action movie returned for the sing along playing the titled characters. One of the dogs attending the Bow Wow Ball, Chance didn't make a special appearance in the sing along, as it was shown on the Disney Wiki, since in the 1996 movie "Homeward Bound II: Lost In San Francisco," the character Chance was portraited by a dog ironically named Chance, even though he looked like Chance from the first Homeward Bound movie from 1993. Plus, the character of Chance in the second movie was portraited by an American Pit Bull Terrier instead of an American Bulldog. My theory is that when they were filming the sing along, they had Dog Mom just call Chance's breed by his Homeward Bound character breed instead of his real breed, just so that when some kids that saw the Homeward Bound movies see him, they would recognize him right away. Also, there were a couple dogs that starred in Homeward Bound II that attended that Bow Wow Ball alongside Chance, which were Casey, who played Sledge the sheltie mix, but in the sing along Dog Mom called her a purebred sheltie and Barney, who played Riley, but also played Rumbo in the 1995 MGM movie "Fluke." Enzo from the TV series "Frasier" also appears, along with Wolfie, Major and Josie, who I sadly don't know what shows, movies and commercials they starred in, but I think Wolfie portraited Fogey the farm dog in the live action 101 Dalmatians movie since I saw him in that movie. Also during "Take Me Out To The Ball Game," in the bottom right hand corner of the baseball field, there was a bluish-greyish type dog right next to Josie, and that dog didn't appear at the Bow Wow Ball, so there must have been an error when filming that scene, as I believe they were trying to get all the dogs onto the baseball field for that scene. I love how it started out with "Zip-A-Dee-Do-Dah" and ended with "The More We Get Together," due to both fitting the beginning and ending scenes really well. I loved the songs that fit the sing along, "Do Your Ears Hang Low," which fitted the TV scene rally well, "Hokey Puppy, "PONGO," "Hot Diggity Dog Ziggity Boom" originally recorded by Perry Como and "Where Has My Little Dog Gone." All the songs were great and amazing! The song "PONGO" first appeared on the album "101 Dalmatians Sing Along" released in 1996 after the live action movie debuted in theaters before this sing along was released on December 3rd of that year. Also, that song appered on the 2004 album "Children's Favorites: Mickey's Top 40 Tunes," the 2006 limited edition CD "12 Disney Favorites: Doggone Fun Songs" and the 2008 album"101 Dalmatians & Friends" It also appeared as a music video on the 2008 Walmart exclusive CD "101 Dalmatians: Bone-A-Find Hits." In conclusion, I give this sing along at 10 out of 10, due to the talented actors and dogs, creative settings and storyboard, well-done plot and really well amazing songs! I cannot get over how great it really is. In my opinion if Disney were to continue making the "Disney Sing Along Songs" trilogy, they would've probably used the plot and of this sing along for live action sing alongs and could probably turn them into one either based on the "Disney's Air Buddies" movie series, the "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" film series or one based on the Disney Channel sitcom "JONAS," to help with the dog and Jonas Brothers / Disney Channel craze of the 2000s. Also, if Nickelodeon or Dreamworks were to make a sing along series like the Disney one in my opinion, I could see a sing along probably made for the 2009 movie "Hotel For Dogs" and having a plot and songs like this. This sing along really fun and awesome!

Plus, I know this may be a van dairy and not possible to be made in real life, but I could definitely see the Disney villains revenge game game continuated series in the future with more villains than just The Evil Queen, The Ring Master, The Queen of Hearts and Captain Hook. 🪝 the possibilities are just endless. Let me know what you think of my friend idea Colin. Okay?

That’s all right, Colin. You’re not out here to look for preschool shows, you’re just here to talk about all the media that Disney villains are included in. And that’s all right with me, because I’ve seen Captain Hook a bunch of times in my life too even in a preschool series like Jake and the neverland pirates. 🏴‍☠️ Tho, They seem more like kid shows than preschool ones in my opinion. The clubhouse series is also one for my thoughts being not a preschool show but a real cartoon. As long as you find out on the media, it doesn’t matter to me Colin. Keep up all your excellent research and make us all proud. I love it either way.
